Lighting<\/b><\/p>\n
You might need to bring in a few lamps to get the lighting you desire. It\u2019s unlikely you\u2019ll capture everyone perfectly with just the ceiling light, so don\u2019t forget to think ahead before it\u2019s time for the portrait.<\/p>\n
Background<\/b><\/p>\n
Obviously, it might not be practical to snap the image in front of a clear white screen. But that doesn\u2019t mean you should just choose any old setting. Be sure to consider the background and any objects that may be out of place. If in doubt, line your subjects up in front of a blank wall or head to a park or other picturesque setting – just ensure the weather is fine!<\/p>\n

However, you can offer small bits of advice that would improve the final result. In particular, try and steer people away from wearing bright colours that may clash.<\/p>\n
