Finding Your Unique Voice
How do we find our voice as photographers, our own unique way of creating that reflects our own personalities?
It’s not just enough to be good – you’ve got to find your own unique voice… sometimes it is hard to know where to start which reminds me a beautiful quote by Author Sabrina Ward Harrison, ” We must create what we most need to find” I think this is a very good place to start.
Focus on what you want to communicate to the world. Let your photography reflect your focus. Many artists became universal because they did things their way, creating art that was probably not the norm which reminds me of the importance of reading people’s biographies whom might inspire us. Trying to see the world from their perspective can help to broaden our own worldview.
